been clear for some time that there is no real reason why electronic security are prohibited during takeoff and landing. Moreover, no legitimate reason not to allow mobile phones on aircraft technology, whatever - that one is more just to keep the other passengers to get into a rage at having to listen to others' half interviews. However, it seems that people are increasingly tired of being unable to use their new electronic books elegant or Tablet PC (not just iPads, of course) on the aircraft takeoff and landing. Nick Bilton, more in the New York Times, asked the FAA what was going on with this, and admitted that he takes a "new look" on these devices and whether they should be allowed to be used in those days. Of course, as he points out, this could lead to a lot of paperwork - including all possible devices through significant evidence:
said Ms. Lunardini Virgin America wishes perform these tests, but the current guidelines to be "prohibitive, especially for an airline with a fleet that is still relatively low in the air in commercial flights like ours."

But, hopefully, a process better and more efficient can be found, and people will really be able to use these devices on airplanes that are not only more than 10,000 feet. ..

have to do the same for all versions of Kindle. Would have to do this for each different model aircraft in its fleet. And America, JetBlue, United, Air Wisconsin, etc., would do the same. (It is not surprising, the FAA maintains smartphones of the table and not easily hundreds of different models on the market.)
Abby Lunardini, vice president of corporate communications for Virgin America, said that the current guidelines require that the carrier must prove each version of a single device before it can be approved by the FAA For example, if the airline sought approval for the iPad, which would prove the first iPhone, iPad 2 and the new iPad, each on a separate flight on which none of the passengers of the aircraft.
