"Our research has shown that the detainees in question, between the ages of 14 to 16 years, had worked at the school for about three weeks," the company said.

"This is not only a violation of the labor laws of China, is also a violation of the policy of Foxconn and immediate action taken to return to the detainees in question its institutions teaching. "

He made the announcement after reviewing the Chinese media reports of juvenile offenders within its workforce of 1.2 million Chinese. He said he had found no evidence of violations similar to one of its other factories in China.

Foxconn said it will work with local government to prevent the schools involved in the case of the internship program Yantai, unless they were satisfied with the labor laws and company policy .
