Medal of Honor

: Warfighter is the second attempt by EA to carve out their own piece of Activision powerful appeal of the franchise. This is not the only one. 2007 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was one of the most influential games of recent years, to the extent that "contemporary military FPS" plays longer subgenus inflated. Warfighter is more disappointing.

This does not mean that it is terribly terrible, but the critical reception so far could be described as a racket courtesy. Warfighter is a quite decent in the mold COD, these things happen, and played their environment and their ability to play almost explosive pace. Differences, as they are, are reduced to small tweaks shooting - you can look on the cover, for example, and drag in

But in terms of corridor shooting a bunch of strangers, Warfighter've played many times before. Jumping game between the two special forces officers who put together the loading of a parcel of shooting and sometimes horrific terrorist while driving very fast.

campaign is short, less than five clock hours, and tries to compensate for this by having something explodes in slow motion every 15 minutes. It is also incredibly enthusiastic about Call of Duty "Breach" mechanic, who crushed by a door in slow motion headshot and several hooded rogue, so that the opening is always different (but functionally identical) Tools default.

Warfighter The problem is that a lot of new ideas, and that makes it bad. Level, incredibly, is to look at a scene, then headshotting a friend and see another scene. You have not moved an inch. Sections mounted weapons, drones remotely, sniper missions, night vision shooting, you have done it all before. An escape sequence Bourne channel in a rickety car Warfighter also shows that apes other media, but like everything else, the execution is strictly B-list.

The multiplayer, at least, the Medal of Honor shows seriously. Line structure here, inspired largely by the system Autolog Criterion excellent, easily exceeds that of Call of Duty Elite and anemia. The home page to quickly track the types of games you like to play, putting the spotlight, while a social hub (urgh) friends songs and clans.

Warfighter The biggest problem with the game itself is a little bland. Competition is evident COD and EA Battlefield own, which have a more distinct identity:. The first arcade-style environment for solo gunners, they carry much more weight and more focused on shooting team

however, is marketed as an alternative to Call of Duty, particularly as the "real" alternative. This can be seen in the old Level 1 agents are used as consultants and wheels at press events, the line "inspired by real events" at the beginning of most missions, and even pre- ridiculous (and removal) for a bonus of Tomahawk. A true Tomahawk.

game developer, Danger Close, believes his game is a tribute to the military, especially the U.S. military. What is shocking about the Medal of Honor of the position in this regard, and it is a position, is that despite the constant death, this game is not about the war, and not even the military. In addition to its trivialization in the game of death, such as red and white headshot icons that appear after the shooting, especially juicy, Medal of Honor is now living a fictional universe in which I play a character named preacher hunting terrorist named Cleric. It is a world of comics.

That's the problem. Medal of Honor, remember, has any inheritance. It is a series set in the late 90, under the direction of none other than Steven Spielberg, with the explicit aim to humanize the conflict. Medal of Honor 2012 has now Warfighter subtitle, and is literally a world in black and white with a dash B-list. If this is what you want to do, fine and dandy. But this dress as it does Warfighter developer and publisher, as a tribute to the armed forces and the sacrifices of the war, seems a kind of enhancement barker.

When I now look Medal of Honor, and business partners who produce things like Tac-300 Tactical Rifle McMillen, I see a game created under the belief that authentic is the best way to divert Activision sales. And even with this belief, the only thing that its creators have never thought to change is the game itself, how it works and what is communicated to the players. He can not even manage a change in tone of the COD. This is the disgusting thing Warfighter. It is an exercise in re-branding, veiled by the sanctity of powerful American forces.
