magazine publisher IPC Media has launched an application of the new magazine for the iPhone based on the career of David Bowie. Uncut is classified, based on interviews from the archives of NME and Melody Maker, with YouTube videos, audio clips, illustrations and photographs thrown in for good measure.

Glu Mobile games freemium hired killer was very popular, but there is now a new spin-off of the living dead. Expect a lot of shots, chewing and, of course, the brain filters. The link above is for the version of Android, but you can get the IOS version here.

Cabin: The application is intended to be an "electronic hailing" a way to hail a cab in London from your phone, including the ability of drivers instant messages with detailed information about your location. sharing the cabin is also supported, to share expenses with others going in the same direction. It is the brainchild of Peter Schive driver, and developed by the moving valve.
