Experts suspect that the Duke

worm is from the same source that Iran's nuclear facilities, target - widely said to have been in the United States and Israel

A very sophisticated computer worm has many features of the same virus used to attack Iran's nuclear program targeted businesses were found in Europe.

Although the virus appears to have been spying on the compromised system - instead of trying to commit acts of vandalism - experts say that your code is very similar to Stuxnet worm that attacked Iran could have been designed by the same people.

United States and Israel is supposed to be behind Stuxnet, which sent many centrifigues in Tehran's nuclear facilities are out of control. It took this kind of cyber warfare to a new level.

The new virus was discovered by Symantec, a leader in cyber security, and was named Duke.

Symantec did not disclose that the companies were targeted, but the company said one of its customers the alarm Friday. An internal company "made a series of red flags" and an investigation was launched.

"Most of the code is in line with the code Stuxnet," a spokesman for Symantec. "So, this new worm has come from the authors of Stuxnet, or someone who had access Stuxnet to source code. "

Symantec said the information collected by the Duke was sent to a server in India, but it gives no indication that he probably started, or has access to the material found.

Its experts suspect was looking for information, such as design documents, which could help establish a future attack against an installation of industrial control.

"Stuxnet really established a new territory in terms of power to enter and be able to control these nuclear power plants [in Iran]," the spokesman said.

"The meaning here is that since we have not seen all that Stuxnet level of complexity that has gone a little quiet since then, the question we are asked now is: .. " Do you have a new goal or purpose ?'"
The fear is that the style of the virus Stuxnet become commonplace, he said.
