On Monday, 31 October, The Guardian Weekly Technology will host the last of his series of talks at City Tech, the fight against the major problems in the future of the digital economy in the UK UK. The theme. Ownership, copyright and intellectual

need a new business model for creativity in the UK. Recognized globally as a world leader in innovation in areas such as music, fashion, design and art, British officials are struggling to make money in a landscape where the high value of the work can be infinitely replicated.

The UK is also recognized as a leader in making recommendations on the regulation of the Internet, and Hargreaves report submitted to the government earlier this year, offers a new approach for the rights of author. But how realistic are their guidelines? Whose interests are served in the Law on the Digital Economy controversial? And how people can live their digital creations? This debate will measure the temperature of the current climate of creation, which brings together ministers, consumers and the media-savvy to know where to draw the line in this politically charged battle.
