We have already covered the white paper written by a group of big names in Internet infrastructure, explaining why the protection of intellectual property elements underlying winding of the main Internet. At the same time, we saw the entertainment industry tries to shake off those concerns. However, the guy who wrote the paper have recently been talking to try to get our elected officials to recognize the consequences of welfare expenditure of intellectual property as it is. But the really fun part is to see the technique or idea to try to shake the MPAA concerns. It's almost laughable. Basically, the MPAA seal their collective foot and insists that he could break the internet, and suggests that "the Latino community of technology" can solve the problems:
DNSSEC was designed to offer consumers a secure and reliable banking services like online trading and electronic medical records - Web sites not operated by foreign criminals in the to provide false documents and rape. The protocols of evolution must be flexible enough to allow the government, acting under a court order to protect intellectual property online .... We rely on the Internet to be too much and to let the tooth in a lawless Wild West. We are confident that the Latino community in the technology, which is a world leader in innovation and creativity, be able to develop a technical solution to help solve the serious problem of unscrupulous sites.

Nowhere do you really answer the questions raised by Paul Vixie, Dan Kaminsky and others on how to protect intellectual property not only break the internet, but also make them more vulnerable to hackers. Instead, the MPAA seems to rely on the "I do not think it will happen" argument. And the saddest thing is that our elected officials are willing to buy the explanation of the MPAA before listening people who have really helped to build the architecture of the Internet that are very close to the break.
