. So today we wrote about how BMG issued a takedown in the new web ad placed by the Romney campaign, which included a short video of President Obama on Al Green singing "We'll stay together." As mentioned earlier, this use seems to be quite clear "fair use". And of course, BMG should be noted that only seemed to go after the announcement of Romney, it is quite clear that this was politically motivated. The original clips of Obama singing Al Green was everywhere ... BMG and YouTube only chose to go after that which is used in a commercial for Romney. Looks like someone fired attorneys BMG this looks very bad , so that instead of reversing, BMG

The original was actually tied to the Associated Press, which - as an organization new - has a fair use claim yet stronger. But this video is not good, despite a slightly different message on the site now:

This is ... rare, because the video was absolutely available this morning. Associated Press has decided to effectively block the video in the U.S.? It seems ... abroad. Why be intimidated AP that? Because I am curious to know these things, I got on my system and my hand Dandy VPN connection magically transported to Canada ... wherein the video again. Magic. Therefore, it is not entirely clear what is happening here, but if you are in the U.S. (and not via VPN), it seems that these reductions singer Al Green Obama quickly disappear from the Web, in Despite the clear demands of fair use. Everything is

and no way we can make a reasonable claim that such use is carried in the original work or otherwise acts as a substitute.
And, of course, the effect Streisand truth, all this is done is to draw attention much more than the video ... BMG and ridiculous censorship the answer to the situation.
