Gogo spreads its in-flight WiFi wings further with SES satellite deal

Rejoice frequent flight enthusiasts interwebs. All systems are once more on the flight Gogo Wi-Fi provider, as the company inks a deal with another satellite operator. A new agreement with the global satellite company SES approaches to offer Wi-Fi problems for passengers on intercontinental flights using its Gogo service - SES area includes coverage of the U.S., Europe and in the region of the Atlantic Ocean. The deal comes along on the heels of agreements signed by Gogo with Inmarsat for operation at Ka-band frequencies and use your HR6400 Aerosat communication system Ku-band satellite connections. The company says Ku-band service may be available on commercial flights that use the network and Gogo at the end of this year, offering more options for example, video chat mischief airtime.
