(or more?) Be German stuck on Youtube, the full-length non-commercial Sita Sings the Blues
film is visible

I suppose it last week because I posted this video, why complain about my 100% legal and licensed carefully and expensively Germany was blocked in cinema:

Apparently Germans are not too happy with the GEMA Themselves, as indicated by the interesting comments here. Some industry cronies and weigh, but it looks like popular opinion is against them. The story was widely shared in Der Spiegel Including the New York Times and online editions.
It is not clear how a user American is supposed to YouTube takedowns competition in Germany. When I was in Berlin recently, it was suggested I find a lawyer to deal with a German sort of action. At the very least, I need someone in Germany to challenge the takedown on my behalf. I guess it would have been a slow and expensive process possible. Then I thought to think this video. Although it took some work (writing a statement - yes I know it's a flawed statement, I did the best I could with the knowledge I had - the shooting of the video recording audio via the microphone separate file transfer, editing, compression, etc.). it was less work to manage an international legal process. And he got results fast! Even better, it contributes to ongoing debates about intellectual Pooperty and GEMA in general.
