iOS 5 may be given too often mobile polls and neck running down the battery
A flaw in the system Apple service point in their new iOS 5 software are increasingly suspected of being the cause of the rapid discharge of the battery for some iPhone owners 4S.
A growing number of people have found that the "area" element of the service system of the service location in the wider product seems to work even when there is no chance that user has moved to a location or time zone. An icon next to the building, whether it was used in the last 24 hours, suggesting that it is running several times to access the phone's location even when no apparent reason to do so.
Location Servicescan lead to large battery drains any smartphone: use a combination of the name of the Wi-Fi, when available, and the mast and mobile data entry GPS sensor to calculate the position of the phone. Mobile data of the mast, for instance, usually calculated by comparing the intensity of the signals from the nearest telephone antennas and the triangulation of three against them. However, if the calculation is done too often, by a vote of the masts, which will start using the battery unnecessarily.
In iDownloadBlog, Oliver Haslam suggests: "It seems that GM iOS 5 introduced a bug that causes the time zone to keep track of location of circuits running constantly, draining the battery switch is considerably. out may mean that the iPhone is no longer set its own time zone when traveling, but it's a small price to pay for your iPhone will last longer than 12 hours when fully charged ... We tested this method in iPhone 4s four different devices, including iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. All reported the battery life improved dramatically after "Time Zone setting" off ".
- Apple
- use location services is deeply integrated into the iPhone 4S and IOS, but others have suggested that consumption is the battery too. "Two years of specialized GPS units taught me to be extremely careful with the configuration of GPS. [It] kills the battery very quickly, "said David Hamilton, an Internet consultant and Java on Twitter discussions in the Apple support boards are all the rage at what specifically could drain the battery much faster. Apple has so far made no comment, but The Guardian reported Friday that its engineers have begun to contact some people who were reporting the use of extremely fast.
