We have argued repeatedly that the real success of Steve Jobs was not invent
nothing new, but by what others had done and what is the best. That is why we find complaints about Android seems so strange. Now a lot of that has made Malcolm Gladwell wrote an article on the "genius," said Steve Jobs, who described (eloquently, as always) as a "tweaker" more than the inventor. On the other hand, is described as an "editor", rather than the inventor.

Jobs
sensitivity was editorial, not invented. His gift was in fact what was before him, the tablet with the pen and refining mercilessly. After seeing the first ads for the iPad, which tracked the publisher, Jacques Vincent, and said, ". Your ads suck "

"Well, what do you want?" Vincent turned away. "I was not able to tell me what you want."
"I do not know," said Jobs. "You must bring something new. Nothing you taught me is not even close. "
Vicente argued again and suddenly went ballistic Jobs." I just started to yelling, "recalls Vincent. Vincent could be volatile in itself, and the firing intensified.

When Vincent shouted, "You must tell me what you want," replied the job. "You have to teach me some things, and I know when I see "

I know that when I see it.
This was the credo of employment, and until he saw his perfectionism kept him on edge. He looked at the title bars, titles that run on top of windows and your computer documents, software developers have designed the original Macintosh and decided he did not like. Developers were forced to make another version, then another twenty repetitions at all, insisting on a small set after another, and when the developers of protest that had better things to do, he shouted, "Can you imagine seeing that every day? There is only one little thing. It's something we have to do the right thing."
This is a key point that we have discussed for years. No huge value
What jobs:. "Perfecto" innovate not actually invented, but to adjust and "modify" the ideas and designs of others to this act may be to take what others have done and what is most precious is underestimated to competence - and yet it is really the key ingredient of innovation.
