Review: Multiplicity 2.0 handy in a multi-computer, multi-monitor setup

If you run multiple computers and monitors in the vicinity of each other multiplicity, 2.0 Stardock (Free and Premium $ 40) is a cheap and effective alternative to a physical switch KM. It lets you share a mouse and keyboard with multiple computers.

multiplicity is free for non-commercial use, with two networked computers. More PC than that and you have $ 40 version that supports up to 9 computers, as well as nice touches like cut and paste between computers, centralized audio and keys sent to all computers at the same time.

The last two features are new to version 2.0, because the connection is 256-bit AES-encrypted.

Network

multiplicity defines the direction in which you move the mouse to transfer control of the secondary equipment.

multiplicity Installation is easy, but there is an option very subtly placed AVG Security Toolbar is selected by default. Install it if you want, otherwise, disable this option and follow the instructions.
