Fly Delta Airlines for the iPad is a function of "glass bottom" that passengers can see what is on the ground as they fly overhead

A glass bottom plane ... like comics as a flying car, but a new iPad application created by Delta Air Lines has an interesting feature called just that, allowing passengers to see the ground below as they fly.

The application, available for passengers on its 800 aircraft Wi-Fi enabled, it also has all the usual stuff, including destination guides, check-in, route planners security plans, etc. on - but the glass bottom "jet" is the most enjoyable part is to make the Francophone community online gadget.
