Joanna Lumley, Gordon Ramsay and Danny Baker are among the tributes to the restaurant critic turned filmmaker, who has died at the age of 77
Tributes to Michael Winner, the director was restaurant critic, has been dumped as the news broke of his death, at age 77, of liver failure.
Speaking to The Guardian, the actor Joanna Lumley, who starred in the latest film winner Shots (1999), he remembered his gift to inspire people around him. "He was really loyal, generous, funny, and I loved the people just loved it when he was not a monster that was lovely was a true superstar - ... But really the most sacred monster."
