Judge rejects request

visual effects consultant Gerald Morawski director who has stolen his ideas for the film

James Cameron beat a request for a visual effects specialist who won the Academy Award-winning director stole their ideas for his blockbuster Avatar multimillionaire.

Judge Margaret Morrow

decided last week that Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment company are not required to compensate Gerald Morawski, who had claimed that he had met the director in 1991 to discuss ideas for a film like in the case of 2009 megalith office because they had proved beyond any doubt that Avatar is a completely original creation.

In a decision of 33 pages, in central California, United States District Court, after examining the case for over a year, Morrow stated: "In reviewing Cameron's previous work, it is clear that each element of Avatar that have been taken from Guardians of Eden was created independently by Cameron before his meeting with Morawski. [Therefore] Morawski can not demonstrate that he suffered prejudice as a result of the diversion of its ideas or expenses incurred on the basis of the promise of the accused. "

Cameron still has at least one exceptional case can finally put the legal situation around avatar rest early. He continued by writer Eric Ryder, who says he wrote a story called KRZ 2068 in 1999, which focused on the social colonization of a distant planet. Ryder, whose case was heard in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, said he worked on the project for two years, at the request of Lightstorm. Cameron says he has never met the writer and reiterates its creation completely independent of Avatar.
