DNP Everspin

Who said that scientific progress will never amount to anything? EVERSPIN followed the research developed by IBM, TDK and German years, researchers back and launched the first commercial spin-torque RAM magnotoresistive (ST-MRAM) on the market. The technology works by using electron "spin" to store data in a magnetic state rather than electronics, to provide a nonvolatile memory that does not wear out. The company said that the first chips were about 50 times the price of the size of the flash memory, but when typical NAND module can perform about 800 IOPS, ST-MRAM is capable of 400,000 - which is ideal for storage in SSD Cache and other demanding applications. EVERSPIN has begun shipping samples of work 64 MB DIMM DDR3 form factor, saying that future versions extend the capabilities of gigabytes and higher speeds - keeping Moore's Law rushes inexorably towards the before. Check the PR after the break to turn around the company.
